We should really consider looking at Elemental and look into why other Publishers aren't taking on board Brad's DRM given its premise.
We've provided our project planner in case you're interested in working with us.

    Games Completed in 2012:
On RYG (Completed 390 Hours of 500 Hours)
Books Completed in 2012: The Curations Series and on Goodreads.com. (50 Books in 2012)

Ouch... I would have thought Stardock would get the DRM thing right. What with there "Gamers Bill of Rights" and all. I thought Startdock was the bright star of hope in all this madness.. i guess i was wrong.

There's aspects of its DRM that isn't all too bad, really.

The problem from our perspective is that neither party (Stardock and Paradox) made attempts to ensure Consumers were given ample resources and information to decide for themselves, before, during and after they've played the game.

When others compare our results and assume it's because of the DRM they're only half right. Remember, Publishers tend to score higher than some DRM schemes because they themselves implement processes that benefit, aid, help and assist Consumers throughout their gameplay experience.

Case in point: NFS: Hot Pursuit (2010). The DRM wasn't too flashy if you went by the numbers. But the game's overall score was salvaged because EA (at the time) did itself a huge favour by letting everyone know what SolidShield was, how it was used and how it would affect Gamers.

The devil is in the details. Stardock certainly isn't evil incarnate. I guess like many other companies they just haven't realized how important accurate information and notification is.

Or sloppy :P. Either way I'm surprised they haven't gone mental as opposed to RYG's previous encounter w/ them.

Well, it's not like they can claim what we're saying isn't true. It's fair criticism.

In short... there's not much you can say against proof! Unless you're just looking for trouble because you're bored.
